    1. Philip Seymour Hoffman's death is truly horrible. He was a singular talent, which we see less and less of these days. A lot of people have said that he basically killed himself because he died from an apparent drug OD. However, I had a friend who died the exact same way last December. And I can tell you, nothing about addiction is easy to deal with.

    2. I agree Philip Seymour Hoffman's death was indeed tragic. Like Christine said many of the actors who have true talent and are experience have begun to pass away. Which is sad making me think that the newer generations of actors are going to have some major shoes to fill. These actors have made such huge impacts in the lives of not only their families but to the whole world. Yes the a typical answer for why a famous actor/actress has died is because of an drug overdose of some kind. My biological father had a drug addiction so i can say from experience that is not a pretty site once you get hooked. The drugs eat and continue to eat at you until you have almost nothing left. It always seems to happen to the people that you least expect to. A talent like him will surely be missed.

  2. He was a familiar face that i saw a lot in movies. "The Big Lebowski", "Patch Adams', "Boogie Nights", "Mission Impossible 3", He was a decent actor, and I will remember him and his talent on the silver screen.

  3. I'm not really sure who Joan Mondale is, but I remember when Micheal Jackson passed away. I remember watching the funeral services and how sad it was, and how terrible the whole thing that happened to him was. But in his death it made a lot of people remember him and who he was. His songs on Itunes rocketed, and they had different remembrances of him on t.v that showed who he was, and how great he was as an artist and a person.

  4. Joan Mondale was another one of the Golden gal's of our era who contributed so much towards society. Its honestly a shame people of her caliber die. I agree with Josh because just like Michael death made people remember who he was. Maybe in death Joan can be remember just as she was while she was still living. People can appreciate the seemingly wonderful contribution she made towards the art culture. She was indeed a very down to earth lady who got along well with anyone she met. Leaders have to exist in order to keep the wealthy well informed in what exactly they are buying. Hopefully in her death she can transcend and accomplish what she was unable to do while still alive through her loving memory of the arts and all they stand for.

Harold Ramis has died at age 69. Such a funny, talented man.
